Asian Civilisation Museum Presents Crossing Cultures: Sounds of Asia
RaghaJazz was fortunate to be invited by the Arts curators at the Asian Civilisations Museum Singapore to present a concert that featured two parts.
A traditional section of an Indian Classical Music Recital and then demonstrate how fusion happens with Indian Music and Jazz.
Performance
Our Performance featured Faculty members from Temple of Fine Arts Singapore; namely Pavan Sughosh on the Indian Classical Violin, Rajagopalan on Mrndngm and Ragha on the Indian Classical Flute.
On the Second half of the performance we’ve invited Rachmawathi Lim on the Keyboards and Jit Seng to performance compositions of RaghaJazz; thus demonstrating the Elements of Tradition and Jazz on one stage.
